The Expert-methodical Council of the UPA
The Expert-methodological Council of the UPA is an expert consultative and advisory body under the Ukrainian polygraph association.
It was established to improve scientific and practical work in the field of polygraph researches, to promote the quality of polygraph exams (tests) and to solve controversial issues of research practice among polygraph examiners.
The main tasks of the Expert-methodological Council:
- Determination of priority methodological directions in the field of researches using polygraph
- Assessment of the prospects for the development of scientific researches in the field of polygraph use in Ukraine
- Providing a unified methodological approach to solving the theory and practice of conducting forensic psychophysiological examinations using a polygraph
- Consideration of controversial issues of researches practice of polygraph examiners
- Assistance in improving the skills of specialists in the field of researches using polygraph
- The definition of moral and ethical standards of polygraph examiners in their professional activities
- Organization of operational information support for members of the UPA
- Expert-consultative consideration of disputed, controversial and other force majeure situations that may arise between polygraph examiners and other persons in the process of research using a computer polygraph

Chairman of the Expert-methodological Council
She graduated from Kharkov Law Institute, specialty – jurisprudence. Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor of Criminal Law, Academician of Law, Ukrainian Technological Academy.
Polygraph examiner: she studied at the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Krasnodar Territory in 1998. Since 1998 she has been taking part in the investigation and disclosure of grave and resonant crimes.
She is the author of a number of methodological developments for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and the first in Ukraine methodical manual on the use of polygraph in ATS activities.
Doctor of Psychology, Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology
Doctor of Psychology, Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology. In 1999, he graduated from the Academy of Legal Psychophysiology (USA, Florida, Largo), in 2003 he underwent further training at the Russian school “Epos”.
He is the author of more than 25 scientific articles and works in the field of instrumental lie detection, one of the most experienced polygraph examiners in Ukraine.
The President of UPA, Doctor of Psychology, Head of the Scientific-Educational Center of VAP
She graduated from the Kiev Institute of Internal Affairs under the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, specializing in psychology.
Doctor of Psychology, senior researcher in the field of “legal psychology”. Author of 65 scientific works in the direction of legal, penitentiary psychology, polygraphology.
Polygraph examiner: she studied at the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Krasnodar Territory in 2003, she passed a refresher course at the Krasnodar Technological University in 2006.
1st President of UP, the developer of the polygraph "RUBICON"
He graduated from the Odessa Medical Institute, specialty “Pediatrics”, specialization “Pediatric Surgery”. Polygraph examiner: he studied at Polygraph Test in 2007.
The author of the modified method of conducting studies using a polygraph. Manufacturer of polygraphs “RUBICON”.
The developer of the online psychological testing system “StimulTest”. He is the President of the Ukrainian Polygraph Association.
Education: higher engineering. Polygraph examiner: she studied at the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Krasnodar Territory in 1998.
Since 1998, as part of a group of polygraph examiners, Alfa-Shit took part in the investigation and disclosure of grave and resonant crimes. The number of conducted PFI exceeds 3 thousand people.
Thanks to research Chimisova V. dozens of serious crimes were revealed, performers, organizers and accomplices were identified, and the innocence of suspects and detainees was proved.
Expert psychologist, polygraph examiner
He graduated from the Kiev Military Humanitarian Institute under the National Academy of Defense of Ukraine, specialty – practical psychology.
He is Candidate of Psychological Sciences. He is expert on psychodiagnostics and non-diagnostic diagnosis of insincere behavior.
From 1998 to 2008 he served in the Security service of Ukraine as a psychologist.

Works as a teacher in the Odessa National University named after I.Mechnikov, Specialty – “Psychology”. Specialization – “Legal Psychology”.
